Police Taskforce Praised for Improved Security Operations in Upper East Region
The National Peace and Advocacy Institute Ghana (NAPAIC) has commended police operations in the Upper East Region, attributing recent security improvements to the work of specialised law enforcement units.
The group specifically praised the Inspector-General of Police's Black Maria Taskforce and the leadership of the Upper East Regional Police Command for their collaborative efforts in maintaining public order and combating crime across the region.
The Black Maria Taskforce, a rapid response unit established to address serious crimes and maintain security, has been instrumental in these gains. NAPAIC's recognition highlights the importance of dedicated policing strategies in addressing regional security challenges.
The commendation underscores ongoing efforts by Ghana's police service to strengthen operational effectiveness across all regions, particularly in addressing criminal activity and ensuring public safety in communities throughout the Upper East.
