NPP General Secretary Hopeful Pledges Party Restructuring Drive Ahead of 2028 Election

Sylvester Tetteh, an aspirant for the position of General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has outlined an ambitious agenda to revitalise the party's organisational framework in preparation for the 2028 general election. In a recent statement, Mr Tetteh emphasised that his vision centres on creating a cohesive and resilient party structure capable of returning to power.

According to the aspirant, key priorities include strengthening internal party mechanisms, reinstating party discipline, and reestablishing meaningful connections with the party's grassroots membership. Mr Tetteh stressed that these measures are vital to restoring public confidence in the NPP and bolstering its electoral prospects in the coming years.

"Strengthening our party structures, restoring discipline, and reconnecting the NPP with its base are fundamental to our success," Mr Tetteh stated. He further highlighted that rebuilding internal confidence and reinforcing organisational capacity are essential steps towards positioning the party competitively ahead of the 2028 polls.

Calling for unity among party members, Mr Tetteh appealed for collective effort toward shared objectives. "Together, let's build a stronger, united, and victorious NPP for 2028," he said, expressing confidence that discipline and cohesion would strengthen the party's position in the next election cycle.
