Businessman and founder of Engineers and Planners Ibrahim Mahama has pledged support for young Ghanaian technology innovator Naamgwinaa Samuel, whose artificial intelligence-powered projects are gaining recognition locally.
The announcement came through Mahama's Special Aide, Rafik Mahama, in a statement on Saturday, July 4, 2026. Rafik emphasised that the support aims to empower Samuel to advance his work and develop groundbreaking solutions with lasting impact across Ghana and beyond.
Samuel has been developing AI-powered innovations designed to address real-world challenges and improve daily life through technology. His recent projects include a humanoid-inspired smartphone stand that combines AI functionality with interactive, conversational capabilities. The prototype features Mahama's name as part of its creative design concept, with the branding "NaSaT" (Naamgwinaa Samuel Technologies) included.
Rafik Mahama commended Samuel's passion and commitment to innovation, noting that breakthrough ideas thrive on encouragement and belief from established figures in business and industry. "Every great innovation begins with someone who dares to dream and with others who believe in that vision," he wrote, urging Samuel to continue shaping a better future through technology.
