Spirit Festival Blends Homowo Celebration with Music, Boxing and Comedy at Pokuase

Ottobi Entertainment is set to reimagine Homowo festivities this August with the Spirit Festival, a three-day extravaganza combining live music performances, professional boxing matches, and comedy shows. Running from 7th to 9th August at the Kalabash Event Complex in Pokuase, the event promises to deliver a fresh take on Ghana's traditional harvest celebration with contemporary entertainment.

The festival opens on August 7th with a Vendor Fair, creating space for local traders and small businesses to showcase their goods and services. This opening day sets the tone for what organisers describe as an immersive cultural and entertainment experience designed to attract families, music enthusiasts, and sports fans alike.

Star-Studded Lineup and Event Schedule

The centrepiece arrives on August 8th with the Artiste Night, bringing together a diverse roster of performers spanning multiple genres. Highlife-afrobeats artist Fameye, soul vocalist Cina Soul, and veteran musician Ofori Amponsah headline the bill, alongside rising talents Adani Best and Lucky Mensah. The festival concludes on August 9th with a more multi-faceted approach. A symposium will open the final day's programming, followed by a comedy night headlined by established comedian Jeffrey Nortey.
