Ashanti Region have captured the 2026 MTN Elite U-19 Championship in style, overcoming defending champions Eastern Region 4-3 in a pulsating final that delivered everything elite youth football should offer. The match, played at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram, showcased the quality and competitive spirit of Ghana's Second Division talent pool, with both sides demonstrating attacking prowess and determination across an enthralling 90 minutes.

The final served as a fitting conclusion to 11 days of competitive football, with Ashanti's victory sending the trophy to Kumasi for the first time under the current championship format.
