Dr. Prince Nelson Mortoti was born on 20th April 1987 at Adjobakope, Amankwa-Tonu in Kwahu Aframplains district of Ghana’s Eastern Region. Later settled at Agave-Dalive in the South Tongu district in the Volta Region. His parents are Mr. Abraham Logodzovor Mortoti (father) and Mrs. Doris Kotoku Mortoti (mother).


He started his basic school in Nutekpor in the South Tongu district in the Volta Region and furthered to Agogyi-Krom International School Sefwi Juaboso District and continued Junior High School (Debe Asesewa Junior High School) in Sehwi-Keffass in the Western North Region of Ghana. He attended Sogakope Senior High School in the South Tongu District of the Volta Region.


He studied herbal medicine in KNUST. He is married to Mrs. Margaret Mortoti and has five children. He is a herbal practitioner, organic farmer, entrepreneur, philanthropist, researcher and Traditional medicine advocate


Currently, Dr. Prince Nelson Mortoti is the Chief Executive Officer of Piwak Group of Companies which Consist of Piwak Natural Health, Piwak Construction and Real Estate, Afritek Construction Limited, Molifix Construction Limited and Pack –Link Limited and Many More


He is a  prominent natural health entrepreneur and philanthropist in Ghana, he was recognized as the 2025 Most Influential Natural Health Entrepreneur of the Year at the Ghana Entrepreneurs Awards.

His notable work and community involvement include:

Awards & Recognition: He was honored with the Ambassador for Natural Health, Innovation, and Urban Excellence award at the African Ambassadorial Title Conference in Kenya.

 

He also emerged as the best Herbal Product of the year at the  8th Edition of the West African Traditional and Medicals award

 

In the year 2025, Dr Prince Nelson Mortoti was inducted into Cooperate Ghana Hall of Fame

 

Dr. Prince Nelson Mortoti was honored by the Volta Region Student Association of Ghana (VORSGA) University of Cape coast.

 

The Office of the Member of Parliament Dome Kwabenya Mrs. Faustina Elikplim Akurugu also Honored Dr. Prince Nelson Mortoti for his Kind and Industrious Gestures in Supporting the people of Dome Kwabenya Constituency

 

In the year 2024 Great Excellence awards also Honored Dr. Prince Nelson Mortoti as Exemplary Philanthropic  and Transformative Leader.

 

Philanthropy & Donations: He has been a notable donor to various communities in Ghana, including providing cash relief and relief items to the victims of the 2023 Akosombo Dam spillage and supporting traders in Abokobi with an amount of Ghc 300,000,00

 

In the year 2023 Dr. Prince Nelson Mortoti Supplied items wealth of More than Ghc100,000 to the Flood Victims of Volta Region and Part of Ada in the Greater Accra Region.

 

As Part of the Kind Gestures From Dr. Prince Nelson Mortoti, in the year 2026 Supported VORGSAG-UCC with an amount of Ghc10,000,00 Cash as well as Ghc4,000 to VORGSAG -Wenniba

 

Piwak Natural Health the Mother of Piwak Group of Companies Donated an amount of 13,000,00 cedis to Veteran Gospel Artist Edward Kwasi Boateng in the year March 2024

 

Public Advocacy: Dr. Prince Nelson Mortoti is an active advocate for civic responsibility, regularly urging Ghanaians to uphold unity, observe their constitutional duties, and show dignity toward vocational professions such as trading.
