President John Dramani Mahama has received a high-level delegation from the Ahafo Regional House of Chiefs at the Presidency in Accra, in what marks an early engagement between the newly elected leader and the region's traditional authorities. The meeting, held on Wednesday, September 16, reflects the President's commitment to maintaining dialogue with key stakeholders across Ghana's regions as his administration settles into office.

The delegation was led by Nana Barima Twereku Ampem III, Omanhene of the Ntotroso Traditional Area and President of the Ahafo Regional House of Chiefs. During the courtesy visit, the chiefs offered their congratulations to President Mahama on his victory in the 2024 general election and highlighted their appreciation for development initiatives that have been implemented in the Ahafo Region in recent years.

In his response to the delegation, President Mahama reassured the chiefs and, by extension, the people of Ahafo Region that they would receive their rightful share of the government's national development agenda.
