Ashanti Region Launches Major Sanitation Drive Ahead of Rainy Season

The Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council and Zoomlion have joined forces to roll out an intensified sanitation campaign across the region, with a focus on tackling indiscriminate waste disposal ahead of the approaching rainy season.

Regional Minister Dr Frank Amoakohene warned that environmental laws will be strictly enforced as part of the crackdown on improper waste management. The campaign aims to reduce flooding risks and improve overall hygiene standards across communities in the region.
