Ghana's Top Businesses Feted at 3rd GOBAA Ceremony in Accra
Ghana's corporate community gathered in Accra on Friday, 26th June 2026, for the 3rd Edition of the Ghana Outstanding Business Achievement Awards (GOBAA), held at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel. The event, themed "Champions of Industry: Recognising Excellence, Advancing National Prosperity," brought together business leaders, diplomats, policymakers, and entrepreneurs to celebrate organisations and individuals driving the country's economic growth.
The ceremony highlighted the crucial role of the private sector in spurring innovation, generating employment, attracting investment, and bolstering Ghana's competitiveness internationally. Organisers stressed that the awards exist to recognise those demonstrating ethical leadership and resilience in transforming Ghana's industries.
Members of the diplomatic community added an international dimension to the event. Representatives speaking on behalf of Sierra Leone's High Commissioner, the Philippines' Honorary Consul, and Zambia's Deputy High Commissioner each outlined bilateral trade and investment opportunities available to Ghanaian businesses in their respective countries β spanning agriculture, mining, manufacturing, technology transfer, and tourism.
