Adisadel Old Boy Max Meezy Eyes Global Stage with Debut 'King of the Jungle' EP
Ghanaian Afrobeats artist Max Meezy is making serious strides in the local music scene with the release of his debut EP, 'King of the Jungle' — a body of work that showcases his evolving sound and his determination to put Ghana on the global music map.
Max Meezy, who was born and raised in Ghana, first developed his love for music during his time at Adisadel College. He later pursued further education at the Ghana Technology University College (GTUC), where he balanced his studies with his ambitions as a recording artist.
Drawing from a rich blend of Afrobeats, Highlife, Hip-hop and broader contemporary African sounds, the EP is characterised by infectious melodies and themes centred on confidence, ambition, love and everyday life. A standout track, 'Big Body', featuring TMBwoy, has garnered notable attention for its energetic delivery and sharp lyricism, helping to introduce Max Meezy's sound to audiences both at home and abroad.
To support the project's release, the artist has undertaken an extensive media tour across Ghana, making appearances on GHOne TV, Bryt TV, Kessben FM/TV, Homebase TV, Accra FM and 4Syte TV, among others. The campaign has helped raise his profile considerably within the industry.
Beyond music, Max Meezy has expressed keen interests in entrepreneurship, technology and personal branding, with a clear vision of building a long-term creative career. He has stated that his ambition goes beyond entertainment — he wants his music to serve as a source of inspiration and a proud representation of Ghana on the world stage.
