Miss Ghana at 69: Inna Patty, Okyeame Kwame and Kafui Dey to Judge This Year's Auditions

Exclusive Events Ghana has announced a prominent four-member judging panel for the auditions of the 69th Miss Ghana pageant, scheduled for Saturday, 27th June 2026 at the Oak Plaza Hotel, off Spintex Road in Accra. The auditions will formally launch the nationwide search for the next Miss Ghana, under this year's theme: Empowering Women, Enduring Legacy.

A Panel Blending Experience Across Law, Media, Music and Broadcasting

Heading the panel is Inna Mariam Patty, Esq., a legal practitioner, social entrepreneur, and Miss Ghana 2004, who has also served as National Director for Miss World Ghana for over a decade. She is joined by celebrated media personality, actress and producer Stacy Amoateng, whose nearly 30 years in broadcasting and philanthropic work through her foundation have centred on women's empowerment and supporting vulnerable communities.

Award-winning musician and UNICEF and World Bank advocate Okyeame Kwame — born Kwame Nsiah-Apau — also takes a seat on the panel, bringing over 25 years of influence in music, entrepreneurship, and social advocacy. Rounding out the quartet is veteran broadcaster and corporate communications professional Kafui Dey, widely respected for his eloquence and commitment to mentorship.

What Judges Will Be Looking For

Contestants will be assessed on far more than physical appearance. The panel will evaluate candidates on confidence, communication skills, poise, patriotism, and knowledge of current social issues. Aspiring queens will also be expected to demonstrate a genuine commitment to community-driven projects, and will have the chance to display creative talents ranging from singing and dancing to spoken word and rap.

To be eligible, contestants must be aged between 18 and 26, and are expected to be morally upright and community-minded. Founded in 1957 at the dawn of Ghana's independence, the Miss Ghana pageant remains the country's longest-running beauty competition and has grown into a platform championing female leadership, education, healthcare, and entrepreneurship.
